Rahul Dravid laments India’s lackluster performance with the ball on the first day of the WTC final.

Indian cricket legend Rahul Dravid has expressed his disappointment with the Indian  team’s performance on the first day of the World Test Championship( WTC) final against New Zealand. The former captain believes that the  team’s lackluster bowling performance allowed New Zealand to get a base in the game, putting India on the aft  bottom. As India’s head trainer for their  stint of Sri Lanka, Dravid has a keen eye for the finer aspects of the game and his  compliances  give an  attractive  insight into the  team’s performance. In this blog post, we will take a  close look at what Dravid had to say about India’s bowling performance on day one of the WTC final.

    1. Rahul Dravid’s  review of India’s bowling performance

Former Indian cricketer and  fabulous batsman Rahul Dravid wasn’t pleased with India’s lackluster bowling performance on the first day of the World Test Championship( WTC) final against New Zealand. Dravid, who’s  frequently referred to as’ The Wall’ for his solid further, expressed his disappointment at India’s  incapability to make  improvements in the New Zealand further line- up.

Dravid was particularly critical of the Indian bowlers’ lack of discipline and  thickness. He  stressed how the bowlers were  unfit to maintain their line and length and how they allowed the New Zealand batsmen to settle in and  make  partnerships.. Dravid’s frustration was apparent as he believed that India missed an  occasion to seize the action in the game by not taking early lattices. The WTC inquiry was the most significant test match for India in recent times, and Dravid believed that the Indian  team  demanded to be at their  veritably stylish to  master New Zealand.

Dravid knows a thing or two about playing under pressure in high- profile games, having been a vital cog in the Indian  team during his playing days. Thus, his  review wasn’t without substance and was  embedded  in his understanding of the game.  Dravid’s  review will be well  entered by the Indian  team, who’ll be looking to turn  things around  snappily after a poor  launch. India has been the dominant force in Test cricket in recent times, and they will be hoping to bounce back in the remaining days of the game and come out victorious in the WTC final.

    2. Dravid’s  review of the bowling changes made by the Indian  team

Rahul Dravid, the  fabulous Indian batsman, was oral in his  review of the Indian  team’s performance with the ball on the first day of the WTC final. Dravid was particularly critical of the bowling changes made by the Indian  team, which he felt were ineffective in breaking the  cooperation between New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor.

Dravid argued that the Indian  team  demanded to be more  visionary in making changes and rotating their bowlers. He also called for  further aggression and variety in the bowling attack, stating that the Indian bowlers  demanded to be more willing to take  pitfalls and  trial with different tactics.

Overall, Dravid’s  commentary reflected the frustration felt by  numerous Indian  players and cricket judges who were  dissatisfied by the  team’s lackluster performance on the first day of the WTC final. While there’s still time for India to turn  things around, Dravid’s  review highlights the need for the  team to raise their game and show  further  intensity in their bowling.

    3. Dravid’s belief that the Indian  team needs to improve its bowling

Rahul Dravid, former Indian cricketer and current trainer of the India A and Under- 19  brigades, has expressed his disappointment over India’s lackluster performance with the ball on the first day of the World Test Championship (WTC) final  against New Zealand.  Dravid believes that the Indian  team needs to improve its bowling if they want to have any chance of winning the WTC final.

In a recent interview, he stated,” The Indian bowlers weren’t at   their stylish  moment. They failed to  give the early advantage they got and allowed New Zealand to score runs easily. However, we need to improve our bowling and make sure that we do not repeat the same  miscalculations, If we want to win the WTC.”  Dravid’s  review isn’t  unsupported. India had an early advance in the form of Tom Latham’s gate but failed to  sponsor it. They allowed the New Zealand middle- order to settle down and  make  partnership.. This  ultimately resulted in New Zealand posting a respectable aggregate of 249 runs in their first innings.  Dravid also blamed the bowling changes made by the Indian  team.

He felt that the  team could have done better in terms of rotating their bowlers and  exercising them effectively.” I  suppose the  team needs to work on their bowling strategies. The bowling changes could have been better and they could have  employed their bowlers more efficiently. This is a commodity that the  team needs to work on if they want to be successful in the WTC final.”  It remains to be seen how the Indian  team responds to Dravid’s  review. They’ve a chance to redeem themselves in the remainder of the match, but they will need to be more disciplined and  harmonious with their bowling if they want to come out on top in the WTC final.

    4. The Indian  team’s response to Dravid’s  review

The Indian  team has taken Rahul Dravid’s  review seriously and is working to ameliorate their bowling performance. After the first day of the WTC final, captain Virat Kohli  conceded that they did not  drift well and stated that they will have to reassess their strategies going forward. Trainer Ravi Shastri also agreed with Dravid’s assessment and admitted that India demanded discipline with the ball.

Still, the  team is confident that they can bounce back and put in a better performance in the  forthcoming days. Vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane stated that the  team isn’t too concerned about the first day’s result and believes that they’ve the capability to come back strong. Spinner Ravindra Jadeja echoed this sentiment and stated that they will need to be more patient and  patient in their bowling.

The Indian  team knows that the WTC final is a  pivotal game and they can not go to make any  further miscalculations. They’re determined to learn from their  failings and come back stronger in the remainder of the game. While Dravid’s  review was tough to hear, it has only motivated the  team to work harder and prove their worth in the  event.

    CONCLUSION:

Rahul Dravid’s  notice of India’s performance on the first day of the WTC inquiry may  soak a bit, but it also highlights an important issue that the Indian  team must address. While India may have the stylish batsmen in the world, their bowling is inversely important, if not more so, in winning Test matches.

Dravid’s  patience with the Indian  team’s bowling strategy and his  notice of the bowling changes made by the  team is  reflective of the fact that there’s still room for  enhancement. It’s over to the Indian  team to take Dravid’s  commentary in stride and use them to  upgrade their approach on the pitch. By doing so, they may yet have a chance at winning the WTC final and showing the world that India is a cricketing force to be worked with.
